After School Program
The After School Program is designed for children attending K-6th grade. Participants enjoy group activities that are conducted in a supervised structured manner. Our goal is to provide a safe and fun environment that will enrich your child's life. The After School Program is held in the gyms at all of the elementary schools in the Lake Havasu Unified School District. Times are: Monday thru Friday from 2:30-6:00p.m. on regular scheduled school days and 1:00-5:30p.m. every Thursday and other scheduled early release days. The After School Program offers homework time (with tutoring), crafts and introduction to art, sports, kayaking, arhcery, snorkeling, a fishing program, performing arts program as well as indoor and outdoor activities. There will be time set aside each afternoon for snack. Snack items may be purchased or children may pack their own.

February 10th - March 14th (5 weeks); $125/1st child; $75 each additional child in same family
There will be no After School Program during the week of March 17 - 21.
March 24th - April 25th (5 weeks); $125/1st child; $75 each additional child in same family
April 28th - May 22nd (4 weeks); $100/1st child; $60 each additional child in same family
Summer Volunteer Program
Children ages 14-17
Application due by March 28
Participants will learn to understand their board and paddle, basic beach set-up and safety, basic paddling skills and turning techniques. Clinics will be held at Rotary Park on the following dates March 5, 19, 22, April 5, 16, 26, 30 May 3, 14, 24, 28. Cost is $50 per clinic which includes all equipment. Register at the Aquatic Center.
Contract Class Instructors Wanted!!!
If you have the experience, skills and patience needed to teach others, we want you! We are currently looking for qualified, motivated and professional contract instructors to teach a variety of youth and adult classes. We are committed to providing leisure and educational opportunities that promote personal well-being while enriching the lives of this community. If you have a way with people and a flair for arts, crafts, cooking, dance or any other specialty class, then we recommend you share your talent and become a contract instructor.
