Sunshine Kids Summer Camp

Sunshine Kids Summer Camp is for children entering Kindergarten through 4th grade and have turned 5 years old prior to registration.  Program will run June 8th through July 24th from 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.  Children will participate in a variety of enrichment activities and field trips.  Cost is $210 for the first child and $165 for each addtional child.  Camp will be held at Jamaica, Nautilus and Smoketree Elementary School.  Program capacity is limited and enrollment is on a first come, first serve basis.  Registration will begin on Monday, May 11th.

Camp Iwannago

Camp Iwannago is for children entering 5th through 7th grade.  Program will run from June 15th through July 23rd from 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Camp Iwannago is for participants with adventurous spirits.  Participants will engage in a variety of activities geared for their age group. Camp will be held at the Lake Havasu High School. Program capacity is limited and enrollmetn is on a first come, first serve basis.  Registration will begin on Monday, May 11th.

5th - 8th Grade Summer Basketball Clinic

This clinic is designed to provide participants the opportunity to improve on existing skills while introducing new skills needed to succeed in the more competitive school programs. Friday scrimmages will afford the opportunity to put skills to the test.  If your child is interested in continuing their growth in the sport of basketball, this is the clinic for them.  Program will be held at the ASU Campus Gym on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.  June 1st through July 10th.  No program will be held on July 3rd.  Cost is $50 per participant.  Registration will begin on Monday, May 11th. 

3rd - 4th Grade Summer Basketball Clinic

This instructional basketball clinic is for participants interested in the sport of basketball.  Whether they have played the game before or are brand new, they will learn new skills and sharpen their exisiting skills.  This is a great way to get your child active during the summer and introduce the skills needed to begin their journey into basketball.  Program will be held at the ASU Campus Gym on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:00 - 6:00 p.m. June 1st through July 8th.  Cost is $50 per participant.  Registration will begin on Monday, May 11th. 

Youth Adventure Camp

Youth Adventure Camp will provide instruction and allow participants to experience the fun of snorkeling, kayaking and archery.  Each session will also include a nutritional cooking and sampling class focusing on the importance and ability to prepare delicious food and eat healthy.  Program is for children ages 8-15 years.  Cost is $50 per participant; per session.  Registration will begin on Monday, May 11th.

Each Session will run:

Monday           10 a.m. - 12 p.m.    Archery/Aquatic Center Gym

Tuesday         10 a.m. - 12 p.m.    Kayaking/Aquatic Center Pool

Wednesday   10 a.m. - 12 p.m.    Healthy Cooking/ Aquatic Center Kitchen

Thursday        10 a.m. - 12 p.m.    Snorkeling/ Aquatic Center Pool

Wee Play in the Gym 

Wee Play in the Gym is an indoor social, physical and fun opportunity for pre-school ages 2 to 4 years.  Children will enjoy an hour of high energy pre-planned activities designed for their age appropriate movement and motor skill ability.  Parent must be present on site to assist the participant.  Program will run June 9th through June 30th on Tuesdays and is limited to 12 participants.  Program will be offered from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. and 10:30 - 11:30 a.m.  Cost is $20 per participant; per session.    Wee Play in the Gym will be held at the Aquatic Center in the Relics & Rods Hall.  Registration will begin on Monday, May 11th.
