Camp is for children entering Kindergarten through 4th grade and have turned 5 years old prior to registration. Program will run from June 2nd through July 18th Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. – 5:30p.m. Camp will be closed on July 4th. Program will be held at Havasupai and Oro Grande Elementary Schools. Cost is $210 for 1st child and $165 for each additional child in same family. Lunch is included at no additional cost courtesy of USDA. Children will participate in a variety of fun activities such as gym games, arts n’ crafts, karaoke, performing arts and much more all in a safe, fun environment. Field trips will include Party in the Park at Rotary Community Park, “Riding the Waves” at the Aquatic Center, bowling at Havasu Lanes, and kicking back to enjoy a movie at Ultra Star Theater, as well as a day trip and barbeque at the Hualapai Mountain Park. Program registration will begin on Monday, May 12th at the Aquatic Center. Program capacity is limited and enrollment is on a first come, first serve basis.
Wee Play in the Gym
Wee Play in the Gym is an indoor, air-conditioned, social, physical and fun opportunity for pre-school ages 2 to 4 years. Children will enjoy an hour of high energy pre-planned activities designed for their age appropriate movement and motor skill ability, such as an obstacle and agility course, a bounce house, parachute play, puppet and story time, music and free dance, and much more. Parent must be present on site to assist the participant. Each session will be offered on Tuesdays and is limited to 12 participants. Cost is $20.00 per child, per session. Wee Play in the Gym will be located in the Rods & Relics Hall at the Aquatic Center. Registration will begin on Monday, May 12th.
Session 2 July 8th through July 29th
Session will be offered from 9:00 -10:00 a.m.
Participants will learn to understand their board and paddle, basic beach set-up and safety, basic paddling skills and turning techniques. Clinics will be held at Rotary Park on the following dates July 12 and August 23. Cost is $50 per clinic which includes all equipment. Register at the Aquatic Center.
