Lake Havasu City will be holding online auctions for its next disposal of surplus inventory. All individual auctions will begin on February 1, 2012, and close February 14, 2012. All vehicles listed for sale will be available for viewing only once on Saturday, February 4, 2012, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Lake Havasu City’s Water Treatment Plant, 925 Port Drive, Lake Havasu City, AZ, 86404. The public will gain access to the property through the north gate, which is directly across from Campbell Ready Mix Plant. A 10% buyers premium will be added to the final sale price of all items listed for sale with a $1 minimum charge per auction for payment processing. This premium will be visible during the bidding process and added to the total bid. Public Surplus collects all payments for the City. Payment for an awarded item(s) must be received from the Buyer within five (5) business days of close of auction. Payment shall be made online by credit card or by wire transfer. If a Buyer chooses to pay with a credit card, please follow the instructions provided on the website. The credit card limit per transaction is $4,000.00. For payments larger than this amount, a wire transfer would be required. An awarded Buyer must remove auction item(s) within five (5) business days of notification by Public Surplus of receipt of payment, and within ten (10) business days from the time and date of issuance of the Notice of Award.
