Public Education Services Administration | Become a Firefighter | EMS | Investigations | Public Education | Prevention | Station Locations | Training | Annual Report The Lake Havasu City Fire Department offers a wide range of fire and life safety classes with the community's safety in mind. The positions that provide these programs are two public education specialists (NFPA Educator II and III). These educators are full-time employees, and with their combined effort, instruct approximately 900 classes each year. The ages of program participants range from preschool to senior citizens. Classes are conducted in various settings, such as schools, businesses, churches, community events, etc. Below are brief descriptions of a few of the programs that are available:
