Create a public realm that is economically and socially vibrant by:

  • Pedestrian friendly street design (building close to street, porches, windows & doors; tree-lined streets; on street parking; hidden parking lots; (garages in rear

  • A mix of shops, offices, apartments, and homes. Mixed-use within blocks, and within buildings

  • Mixed Housing; A range of types, sizes and prices in closer proximity to the Uptown

  • Emphasis on aesthetics, human comfort, and creating a sense of place by requiring quality architecture and urban design

  • Range of uses and densities within 10 minute walk Uptown

  • Transect planning: Highest densities along McCulloch Blvd; progressively dense towards the edge.
