Man Arrested for Methamphetamine

On May 17, 2016 at approximately 4:23 a.m., detectives from the Lake Havasu City Police Department’s Special Investigations Unit, which is part of the Mohave Area General Narcotics Enforcement Team (MAGNET), with the assistance of the SWAT team, served a drug-related search warrant in the 3700 Block of Vega Drive. The search warrant was a result of an on-going drug investigation.

Detectives located and seized approximately 15 grams of methamphetamine, a small amount of marijuana, and numerous items of drug paraphernalia.

Arrested during the search warrant was 41-year-old Christopher Rikerd, a resident of Lake Havasu City.

Rikerd was charged with possession of dangerous drugs for sale, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. 

Rikerd was held with no bond at his initial appearance and transferred to the custody of the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office.
