Junior Lifeguards Fundraiser

The Lake Havasu City Parks & Recreation Department’s Junior Guards are holding a spaghetti dinner fundraiser on Friday, October 12, at 6:30 in the Gym at the Aquatic Center. Tickets are on sale now for $2 at the Aquatic Center or $3 at the door.

Junior Guards are 9 to 15-year old boys and girls who join the program to learn basic water safety skills, including First Aid and CPR. Junior Guards also have the opportunity to ‘shadow’ working lifeguards to gain useful observation and preparedness skills that enhance their overall development.
