Lifeguard Training Offered

The Lake Havasu City Parks and Recreation Department, in cooperation with the American Red Cross, is offering lifeguard training for persons interested in earning lifeguard certification. Class includes professional-level CPR, First Aid, blood-borne pathogens, use of the Automated External Defibrillator, and lifeguard training. Classes will be conducted at the Aquatic Center on Friday, September 7 from 5 to 9 p.m., Saturday, September 8 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, September 9 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Minimum age is 15-years and there is a $75 fee per participant.
