Mayor Nexsen Invites
Citizen Input at Open Forum
Lake Havasu City Mayor Mark
Nexsen is offering an open forum that citizens may use to provide him with
input on issues they feel are important to the City. The meeting is open to the public and will be
held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday, January 18 at the Hampton Inn on London
Bridge Road.
“I scheduled this meeting for
anyone to come in and personally let me know what’s on their mind and how City
Council can improve their quality of life,” said Nexsen. “While I am interested in hearing about
problems citizens may have, I am most interested in hearing what suggestions
they have on how we can work to solve those problems.”
Nexsen added that these
citizen meetings may be scheduled on a regular basis.
“I look forward to meeting
interested citizens face-to-face, shaking hands and brainstorming important
issues. I hope to get so much valuable
feedback from this meeting that we’ll want to make them a regularly scheduled
item.”
