To ensure the longevity of your tree we ask that you do not water, fertilize, trim, or plant flowers/plants around the base of the trees. To maintain consistency throughout the parks we also ask that you do not place decorations on or around tree. Please be assured we take as much pride in your tree as you do; however, we feel trees look best in their natural state. All trees are on a scheduled maintenance program and are cared for by trained, certified parks personnel. Trees are regularly monitored for stress, disease, and other symptoms that are related to their health and welfare. Thank you for following these simple guidelines to ensure that your tree will bring an enjoyment to you and the entire community for years to come.

Why are trees important?

  • Trees help keep the air clean by absorbing carbon dioxide, a major cause of the "Greenhouse Effect" and give off oxygen.
  • Trees are natural air conditioners they lower air temperatures by evaporating water through their leaves.
  • Trees help reduce air pollution by trapping and filtering dust and other particulates.
  • Trees cut down on noise pollution by acting as sound barriers.
  • Trees are a major source of food and shelter for birds and other wildlife.
