The Parks Maintenance Division develops and maintains city-owned parks, facilities, landscapes and streetscapes; assists the recreation division with special events, activities, and programs; maintains city-owned flags; provides equipment and operations for city sponsored events; places and removes event banners on McCulloch Blvd., oversees the Memorial Tree/Bench Program, the tree relocation program, and the shade shelter program; maintains city buildings; and maintains athletic fields, and school related facilities as described in the intergovernmental agreement between the city and the Lake Havasu Unified School District. The Parks Maintenance Division would like to invite you and your family to enjoy the beautiful scenery and various amenities located within each of our parks.
Park fields and ramada reservations can be made through the Parks & Recreation Administrative Office. A 10 day advance notice is required for all groups under 30. Groups over 30 will require a special events permit and over 30 days notice. No reservations will be taken during holidays or holiday weekends. All parks may be used on a first come first serve basis. Inflatables and slip n’ slides can no longer be used in the grass areas. Inflatables can only be used in the beach sand areas. This is due to extreme temperatures during the summer months.
Each city park or facility is marked by a numbered flag. Hover your mouse over each flag to find valuable information
about that park. On the left hand side of the screen is a key that represents the different
park attributes. You can click on each flag to access that park's page or click on the links located in the key below the map. |
