While Havasu Silent Witness works closely with the Lake Havasu City Police Department, it is a separate, autonomous, non-profit organization incorporated under the laws of the State of Arizona. The Internal Revenue Service has awarded the organization 501(c)(3) (tax-exempt donation) status. Havasu Silent Witness was started in 2000 by a group of volunteers for the purpose of providing citizens a method to report a crime, provide pertinent information about a crime, or report the location of a wanted fugitive while remaining anonymous.

many tips have resulted in arrests by the Lake Havasu City Police Department. We could not have done this without the help of citizens just like YOU who chose to get involved in the fight against crime.

Havasu Silent Witness relies on the donations it receives each year from private tax deductible donations, donations from local businesses and clubs, and some are provided via fines collected by the Lake Havasu City Court. Some of these funds are used to pay out reward money, but interestingly, many people who call Havasu Silent Witness don't even want a monetary reward for their information, just anonymity while providing valuable information to the law enforcement community.

Lake Havasu City is a wonderful place to live and raise our children. Havasu Silent Witness is dedicated to preserving that way of life by helping you to become directly involved while remaining completely anonymous.

HERE'S HOW REWARDS ARE PAID

Cash rewards are available if the information results in the apprehension of a fugitive, the arrest and prosecution of the suspect of a crime, or is of other significant benefit to law enforcement. Once your eligibility for a reward is established, you will be given a Payout Number and instructions on how to pickup your reward at a local bank. It's a very simple and anonymous procedure!
