City Engineer: J. Greg Froslie, P.E. The Engineering Division is charged with following the city's major construction projects from start to finish. Our responsibilities include design and construction administration of various city construction projects which include buildings, streets, sewer, water and drainage. This division functions as the project manager. It also functions as the custodian of good engineering practice in the city through design review, construction inspection and testing of materials on the jobsite to ensure they meet specifications. The Engineering Division is also responsible for managing consultant design and construction. The Engineering Division assists other City Departments in managing their CIP projects as well. The effective management of the CIP insures that the city infrastructure is maintained and improved to better serve our citizens. The Engineering Division also manages the Wastewater System Expansion program, which entails an eleven year CIP totaling $453 million dollars. |

Driveway Inspections The division also reviews, approves and issues all of the permits for work that is performed in the City right-of-way.
