What Lake Havasu City Provides for Volunteers

Available Street/Wash segments for volunteer groups based
on safety considerations, including traffic volumes, speeds,
curves, and a number of intersections.

Supply safety vests which must be
returned after the work is finished.

Fabricate and install signs
identifying the name of the group.

Supply litter bags and removes and
disposes of the filled bags.

Provide safety training for group coordinators.

What Volunteers Must Provide

Two year commitments to pick up litter along a segment of a city
wash or Street.

Schedule a date and time of each clean up with the Public Works

A commitment to pick up litter at least two times per year.

Hold a safety briefing before each clean up.

Designate a member as a coordinator.

Maintain a working group of six to ten people.
