 Since 1967, R/UDATs have helped more than 135 communities nationwide to become more livable. They have addressed a wide variety of community issues, including urban growth and land use, inner-city neighborhoods, downtowns, environmental issues, waterfront development, and commercial revitalization. More than 500 professionals representing over 30 disciplines have donated more than $3.5 million in services as members of R/UDAT teams.

R/UDAT was in Lake Havasu City in February 2007 for three days.  The team concentrated on the “Uptown” area and west to Lake Havasu Avenue.  Through public input and expertise of the R/UDAT professionals a plan was developed.  The R/UDAT plan was the basis for the creation of the new Uptown McCulloch Main Street District.
