Streets

Maintain 425 miles of paved roadways and 80
miles of washes

Install and maintain sidewalks, street name
signs, regulatory signs, stop signs and all signs installed
in the city right-of-way

Patch street surfaces and overlay
deteriorated areas
-
Paint all traffic control markings on city
streets such as stops, turn arrows, lanes, edges of roads
and center of road lines
-
Sweep city streets clean from dirt and
debris
-
Respond to complaints and requests for
service regarding all roadways, washes and rights-of-way
-
Assist with special community events
regarding street closures by providing signs, traffic cones
and barricades
-
We utilize 32 employees including office
staff and management
