Water Maintenance
Currently the city has 10 active
wells located in two separate well fields, and capable of
producing 32,100 gallons of water per minute or 46 million
gallons a day.
The groundwater supply draws water from the Colorado River
aquifer with an annual allocation of 25,180 acre-feet or 8.2
billion gallons of water a year.
Lake Havasu City distributes its water through 483 miles of
water distribution lines ranging from 4-inch to 36-inches in
diameter and serving just under 54,000 residential and
commercial water services.
Twenty-nine water storage tanks totaling 21 million gallons of
water serves the city’s six pressure zones.
