Veterans Treatment Court is an intensive, outpatient program where Veterans participate in counseling treatment, active outside court activity, and inside court participation (classes, meetings, hearings). Average participation time is 6 to 18 months. Upon completion of the Veterans Treatment Court, the Veteran partakes in a graduation in front of his fellow Justice Involved Veterans. The Colorguard presented by the Marine Corp League DET 757 presents the colors and the entire Court stands for the pledge of allegiance. The graduating Veteran receives a certificate and a coin for his completion of the program. A graduation cake is then shared by all Veterans in celebration of the graduates' achievements.

MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the Lake Havasu Veterans Treatment Court is to promote public safety through the collaborative effort of the criminal justice team by establishing individualized treatment plans and providing the tools necessary for successful community reengagement thereby; breaking the revolving door cycle among our Justice Involved Veterans.
