The temporary road closure of North Lake Havasu Avenue is required for Lake Havasu City crews to improve the water system for residents.  In an effort to reduce the impact to residents and motorists in the area, crews will work at night to improve the water system.  North Lake Havasu Avenue, in the vicinity or Sabino Drive and Bahama Avenue, is closed beginning on Sunday night, June 3, at 8:00 p.m. and is scheduled to reopen on Monday morning, June 4, at 4:00 a.m.  Through traffic is not permitted during the construction period, but all local residents will have access to their homes. Emergency access will be maintained.
