18TH ANNUAL FREE COMMUNITY DINNER
November 23, 2021

The entire community is cordially invited to attend the 18th Annual Free Community Dinner on Friday, December 10, at the Aquatic/Community Center. The team is offering two different serving times again: Early Bird serving at 4:00pm, (doors open at 3:30) and the 2nd serving at 6:00pm, (doors open at 5:45). Both servings are first come, first serve, up to 500 people per seating.

This dinner, hosted by the community for the community, provides a relaxed atmosphere to share a traditional holiday feast with family, friends, neighbors, and anyone who just wants a dose of great community spirit. Thanks to numerous volunteers, donors, and local business sponsors, this event continues to grow year after year.

The turkeys, donated by various local service organizations, are cooked by Shugrue’s Restaurant, and prepared by Chef Trevor Best and W.A.V.E. Culinary and Hospitality students.  The meal includes turkey, ham, potatoes and gravy, stuffing, dinner rolls, vegetables, and choice of pie for dessert donated by Smith’s Food and Drug grocery store.

Santa is making a special appearance at both servings, with toys for girls and boys, sponsored by the River Riders Motorcycle Club and distributed by Firefighter Charities. Picture Perfect Photography, sponsored by Anderson Auto Group, is onsite for both servings to take one 5×7 portrait for individuals and families to take home for free.

If interested in volunteering for this great community event, click the link below and register before December 1st.
