Effective immediately, per Governor Doug Ducey’s Executive Order 2020-09, bars, movie theaters, gyms, fitness clubs and similar facilities are closed to the public. Restaurants can offer take-out, delivery, and curbside pickup, but cannot provide dine-in services.

The Mohave County Department of Public Health notified the public of the first positive test of COVID-19 in Mohave County, which triggers Governor Ducey’s Executive Order 2020-09.

“My top priority is to protect the public health of this community. If we continue to abide by the guidelines of the Centers for Disease Control, Arizona Department of Health Services, and Mohave County Department of Public Health, by limiting our exposure, staying at home, practicing good hygiene and social distancing, and remaining calm, we will get through this together” said Mayor Cal Sheehy.
