FIVE ARRESTED FOR VEHICLE BURGLARY

On November 13, 2021 at approximately 1:10 a.m. the Lake Havasu City Police Department received a report of a theft from a vehicle in progress in the 600 block of Apache Dr. Several subjects fled the scene upon police arrival. A search was conducted of the area, and surveillance video was recovered which depicted four male subjects involved in the incident.

A short time later, a vehicle occupied by one female and four males who matched the descriptions of the subjects observed in the surveillance video was located nearby, and a traffic stop was conducted at the intersection of Star Dr. and Chemehuevi Blvd. As a result of the investigation, two adults and three juveniles were arrested, and a stolen firearm was recovered. The subjects arrested are also believed to have been involved in several other recent thefts from vehicles reported throughout Lake Havasu City, and the investigation is ongoing.

The juveniles, ages 15, 15, and 16, were all charged with burglary in the 3rd degree, possession of burglary tools, possession of stolen property, and misconduct involving weapons, and were transferred to the custody of the Mohave County Sheriff's Office.

Bryce Free, an 18-year-old Lake Havasu City resident, was charged with burglary in the 3rd degree, possession of burglary tools, possession of stolen property, and misconduct involving weapons.

Carly Rupp, a 38-year-old Lake Havasu City Resident, was charged with possession of stolen property.

During their initial appearances, Free was held on a $5,000 bond and transferred to the custody of the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office, and Rupp was released on her own recognizance pending a future court date.
