Lake Havasu City Development Services Department announces Unisource Gas Company is doing a gas main repair and asphalt pavement replacement on Lake Havasu Ave. at the intersection of McCulloch Blvd. This work is requiring traffic controlled lane restrictions on Lake Havasu Ave. on two separate occasions. The traffic signal is in 4 way flash operation during the times of construction. The lane restrictions are scheduled to occur between 6:30 p.m. Sunday, November, 8 through 7:00 a.m. Monday, November, 9 to repair a gas main leak. Traffic controlled lane restrictions are set up again on Tuesday, November, 10 from 4:00 a.m. through 7:00 a.m. to patch the asphalt pavement.

Lane restrictions are subject to weather and other conditions, and is open to the traveling public at the end of each workday.  The work is requiring the southbound lanes on Lake Havasu Avenue to be restricted. Motorists are encouraged to find alternate routes, allow themselves extra travel time, and follow all construction signage and traffic laws.
