The Lake Havasu City Police Department would like to congratulate and welcome two new recruits who recently graduated from Class #29 at the Western Arizona Law Enforcement Training Academy (WALETA) in Lake Havasu City on Friday, December 10, 2021.

The 20-week, 797-hour training course is comprised of topics ranging from ethics and professionalism to community policing, introduction to criminal and traffic law, firearms, defensive tactics, vehicle operations and physical conditioning.   

Pictured from left to right is Lake Havasu City Police Officer Christopher Devery, Operations Captain Troy Stirling, and Officer Christopher Soto.  Officers Devery and Soto will now go through a sixteen-week field training program where they will partner with and receive additional training from Lake Havasu City Police Department Field Training Officers.
