Lake Havasu City is honoring medical workers and first responders on the frontlines of the new coronavirus outbreak by joining Governor Doug Ducey’s Light AZ Blue Campaign.

On Wednesday, Governor Ducey announced the lighting of the Arizona Capitol Dome blue, and invites any city, town, and private business to join in this effort to support many front line workers who are helping us respond to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Lake Havasu City responded with the lighting the Wheeler Park fountain and one of Arizona’s landmarks, the London Bridge, as a means to thank all of our local and state heroes fighting and responding on the front lines during this pandemic.

“Lake Havasu City supports and recognizes our healthcare workers supporting our community during these challenging times.  We are grateful for their service to our community.  We are following Governor Doug Ducey's lead in the Arizona Light It Blue initiative to support our healthcare and first responder workforce.”
