PUBLIC ASSISTANCE REQUESTED IN THEFT FROM VEHICLES

On December 9, 2020, Lake Havasu City Police Officers responded to the areas of Amigo Drive, Coconut Grove, Douglas Drive, and Desert View Drive for reports of thefts from vehicles.  It was reported that five vehicles had been entered by unknown suspects and items were taken from inside, including a handgun and credit cards. All five vehicles were believed to be unlocked at the time of the thefts.

A home video security camera has captured an image showing one of the thefts in progress and it appears that there are two suspects in these theft cases. The suspects are described as white males in their late teens to early 20’s wearing long pants and long sleeve shirts or hoodies. These males have not been identified at this time.

Detectives from the Lake Havasu City Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Unit are investigating this incident. If you have information regarding this incident, you are encouraged to contact the Lake Havasu City Police Department.
