WOMAN ARRESTED FOR BURGLARY

On 02/02/2021 at approximately 3:53 p.m. Lake Havasu City Police officers responded to a report of a burglary at 2700 block of Palisades Dr. in which all of the home’s appliances and cabinets had been stolen. Witness information led officers to contact a local resident, Michaela Christian, who had previously visited the residence. On 02/03/2021, further investigation into Christian’s whereabouts revealed a second burglary that had occurred at a vacant residence, which she had also frequented, in the 2300 block of Clarke Dr. During the course of the investigation, numerous items from the Palisades Dr. burglary were located within the Clarke Dr. residence.

Detectives from the Lake Havasu City Police Department Criminal Investigations Unit assisted with the investigation and contacted Christian at her home in the 2300 block of Alpine Dr. A search warrant was served on the Alpine Dr. residence resulting in numerous items of stolen property being located. As a result of the investigation, 48 year old Michaela Christian was arrested.

Michaela Christian was charged with two counts of burglary in the 2nd degree, two counts of criminal damage, theft, and trespassing.

During her initial appearance, Christian was held on a $25,000 bond and transferred to the custody of the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office.
