WINTERFEST

To reduce traffic, save fuel, and provide a parking option during the Winterfest event, Lake Havasu City Transit will be operating two public fixed routes to and from two parking locations. This is open to the public and there will no fare charged for the event on February 4th and 5th.

The two remote parking locations that The Bridge will be providing transportation to is: City Hall parking lot at 2330 McCulloch Blvd and the other is the public parking area off Capri Blvd and Mesquite. Parking areas for The Bridge will be marked.

City Hall Route: Will depart from the City Hall parking lot to Pima Wash at 8:45 am and the final departure at 2:45 pm. Estimated route time is 15 minutes per loop or four trips per hour.

Mesquite Route: Will depart from the Mesquite parking lot to Pima Wash parking lot at 9:00 am and final departure at 3:00 pm. Estimated route time is 15 minutes per loop or four trips per hour.

The Bridge will be utilizing two ADA low floor buses that can transport 14 customers or two wheelchairs and 12 customers.

EXPRESS ROUTE WILL BE ENDING JANUARY 27

The Express Route’s last day of operation will be January 27, 2023. Thank you for participating in this pilot route.

Stay tuned for the new Gray Route coming in Spring 2023.

SECOND PILOT ROUTE PROGRAM

“The Express” route to Walmart departs from the “Hub” bus stop located in the Pima Wash parking lot, once the bus has departed the “Hub” the next stop will be at the Arizona State University (ASU) campus, then to Walmart.

Hours of operation: 9:00am to 2:00 pm. The first trip departs at 9:00 am the last trip of the day departs 2:00 pm

Initially the days of operation will be, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. As demand increases days may be added.

The transit vehicle is a 14 passenger cutaway style bus with wheelchair access. Not too big not too small.

There are multiple ways you can buy a bus pass by computer on Token Transit website, download the Token Transit app to your smart phone or purchase tickets from ASU Sun Devil Market or at the Transit Building 900 London Bridge Road Building B.

To expedite boarding, promote health, and, safety Lake Havasu City Transit uses a cashless fare system for all its transit services.

I USE A WHEELCHAIR CAN THE BRIDGE ACCOMODATE?

Yes, our new Fixed Route buses are all “Low Floor” meaning they are accessible and wheelchair ready. Each bus can carry up to two wheelchair riders. All Transit Drivers have been state and nationally certified to assist with the processes of safely loading, securing, and, unloading wheelchair and mobility device users.

HOW MUCH STUFF CAN I BRING ON THE BUS?

You can bring only as many bags as you can carry. Large packages requiring an unreasonable amount of space will not be allowed. The Transit Driver cannot assist with the loading and unloading of purchases.

CAN MY DOG RIDE WITH ME?

Trained service animals are welcome. Other animals/pets must be kept in a secured animal carrier.
