On November 2, 2025, at approximately 11:38 a.m., officers from the Lake Havasu City Police Department responded to a report of a male subject who had acted recklessly with a firearm. Through the course of the investigation, officers determined that the incident originated from a verbal altercation between the suspect and multiple other people that occurred around 11:30 p.m. on November 1, 2025. Following the argument, the suspect left the area, while the victim and several friends returned to a residence in the 1200 block of Lake Havasu Avenue North.

Lake Havasu City honors our Veterans on Tuesday, November 11, by joining VFW Post #9401 for their annual Veterans Day Parade and ceremony, paying tribute to the men and women who have bravely served our nation in the United States Armed Forces. The parade begins at 9:00 a.m. along McCulloch Boulevard at Main Street.

The representative for The Waterfront development requested a continuance for the public hearings originally scheduled for the Lake Havasu City Planning & Zoning Commission meeting on Wednesday, November 5, 2025. As a result, City staff will not be making a presentation, and the Commission will not take action on these items at that meeting. The continuance allows the applicant additional time to further prepare materials for review and ensures the public has a clear opportunity to participate once the hearings are ready to proceed.

On October 31, 2025, at approximately 11:52 p.m., officers from the Lake Havasu City Police Department responded to the 100 block of Park Avenue regarding a reported shooting.

The Lake Havasu City Council invites volunteer speakers to offer an invocation before the beginning of its Regular Meetings in 2026 for the benefit and blessing of the City Council. Any individual or organization interested in offering an invocation at a City Council Regular Meeting can submit their names for participation in the lottery through an application located on the City’s website. The invocational speaker must be a resident of Lake Havasu City, having resided in Lake Havasu City for at least one (1) year prior to December 3, 2025.

Lake Havasu City invites the community to a heartfelt Farewell Tree Ceremony honoring the historic holiday tree at Wheeler Park. The event takes place on Wednesday, November 5, at 10:00 a.m. at Wheeler Park, located at 1801 McCulloch Boulevard North.

Lake Havasu City is excited to announce the upcoming replacement of the Site Six Fishing Dock, bringing residents and visitors an improved experience at one of our community’s favorite spots. Construction begins the week of October 6, with closure of the existing dock scheduled for the week of October 13. This closure remains in place throughout the duration of the construction period, currently anticipated to last through mid-November, weather permitting.
