Two Arrested for Methamphetamine
August 19, 2016

On August 13, 2016, at approximately 2:00 p.m., detectives from the Lake Havasu City Police Department’s Special Investigations Bureau, which is part of the Mohave Area General Narcotics Enforcement Team (MAGNET) served a drug-related search warrant inside a residence in the 3200 Block of Pioneer Drive. The search warrant was a result of a domestic violence call at the residence where the investigation revealed there was a large amount of methamphetamine inside the residence.

Detectives located and seized approximately 45 grams of methamphetamine, a small amount of marijuana, and items of drug paraphernalia.

Arrested during the search warrant were 43-year-old Timmy Feliz and 47-year-old Humberto Ruiz, both residents of Lake Havasu City.

Feliz and Ruiz were both arrested and charged with possession of dangerous drugs for sale, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

At their initial appearances, both Feliz and Ruiz were held with no bond and transferred to the custody of the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office.
