COMMERCIAL FIRE

At approximately 4:55 p.m., on Tuesday, September 27, 2022, a fire was reported in the 1500 block of Dover Ave.  An exterior fire was initially reported of multiple RVs on fire, immediately adjacent to a structure and with power lines down.  The first arriving fire company confirmed a working, exterior fire with multiple RVs and other items on fire and possible extension into the structure. 

Four Engine Companies, one Truck Company, one Medic Unit, and a Battalion Chief responded to the fire and gained control of the fire in one hour.  There were no occupants on the scene at the time of the fire and no reported injuries to the firefighters. 

LHCFD CERT responded to the fire to assist with Rehab duties for the firefighters and Desert Hills Fire Department provided assistance to Lake Havasu City with other 911 calls during the incident. Crews remained on the scene an additional two hours extinguishing hot spots. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
