GRAFFITI SUSPECT ARRESTED
January 16, 2026
Over the past few months, the Lake Havasu City Police Department Street Crimes Unit has been investigating several different incidents involving graffiti throughout Lake Havasu City.  During the course of that investigation and with the help of an anonymous tip through Havasu Silent Witness, an investigative lead was developed and ultimately identified as the subject involved in 14 separate incidents occurring primarily in the downtown area.
On January 14, 2026, at approximately 8:32 P.M., officers with the Lake Havasu City Police Department Street Crimes Unit observed the suspect leaving his residence in the 2200 Block of McCulloch Blvd North. The subject was contacted and arrested based off the information gathered during the investigation. A search warrant was drafted and executed for the suspect’s residence where numerous items of graffiti paraphernalia with “INEM” and “NCF” were located which linked him to the 14 graffiti cases. Additionally, dangerous drugs and drug paraphernalia were located during the search warrant.
As a result of the investigation and search warrant, Sean Reinertsen, a 39-year-old Lake Havasu City resident, and Katie Hipkin, a 34-year-old Lake Havasu City resident, were arrested.
Reinertsen was charged with 18 counts of making graffiti (LHC City Code) while Hipkin was charged with possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.
After his initial appearance, Sean Reinertsen was held on a $14,000 cash bond, while Katie Hipkin was held on a $5,000 secured bond. Both subjects were transferred into the custody of the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office.
The Lake Havasu City Police Department would like to thank the community for all the information provided to assist with a successful conclusion to this case.  There is a reward being paid for the tip received through Havasu Silent Witness, which resulted in the identification and arrest of the suspect.
