SHOOTING INVESTIGATION REMAINS ONGOING

The investigation into the death of a 32-year-old Lake Havasu City man remains ongoing. On November 8, 2023, at approximately 10:18 p.m. Lake Havasu City Police Officers were dispatched to a residence within the 3700 block of Hiawatha Dr. regarding a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located a male subject within the residence, who has been identified as 32-year-old Kyle Kozan, deceased from a suspected gunshot wound.

Detectives from the Lake Havasu City Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Unit continue to investigate this incident. It was learned by detectives that the male decedent was believed to have been in a domestic disturbance with his wife, a 30-year-old Lake Havasu City resident, prior to the shooting incident.

Lake Havasu City Police Department investigators are working in conjunction with the Mohave County Medical Examiner’s office to obtain further information about the death of Mr. Kozan, as is standard in shooting deaths. Further details will be made public as the investigation unfolds.
