At approximately 1:30 am on Friday, March 31, 2023, a fire was reported by the neighbor in the 2200 block of Bombay Dr. The first arriving fire company reported fire coming from a front bedroom window. Four Engine Companies, one Truck Company, one Medic Unit, and a Battalion Chief responded to the fire and gained control of the fire in 22 minutes. 

On arrival the Engine Company received reports of a victim inside the residence. A search of the home was completed, and no victim was found. One person on scene was assessed for injuries but refused transport to the hospital. There were no reported injuries to firefighters. LHCFD CERT responded to the fire with rehab duties for the firefighters.  Desert Hills Fire Department moved up to Lake Havasu City to assist with other 911 calls during the incident. Crews remained on the scene an additional two hours conducting salvage and overhaul operations. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
