VETERANS DAY PARADE, TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES, AND HOLIDAY CLOSURE OF CITY OFFICES
Lake Havasu City honors our Veterans on Tuesday, November 11, by joining VFW Post #9401 for their annual Veterans Day Parade and ceremony, paying tribute to the men and women who have bravely served our nation in the United States Armed Forces. The parade begins at 9:00 a.m. along McCulloch Boulevard at Main Street.
A street closure is in place from Acoma Boulevard to Capri Boulevard from 7:00 a.m. to approximately 1:00 p.m. to accommodate the parade and the ceremonial activities at Wheeler Park, which immediately follows the parade.
City offices and the Aquatic Center are closed on Tuesday, November 11, in observance of Veterans Day. Police and Fire Department services are unaffected. However, administrative offices are closed. All City offices resume normal schedules on Wednesday, November 12. Trash and recycling schedules remain uninterrupted.
Please exercise additional caution when traveling in these areas and pay special attention to all signage, markings, volunteers, and law enforcement personnel.
To all our veterans and active military, we thank you for your service!!
