Lake Havasu City continues critical water infrastructure upgrades in the Smoketree Avenue and Mesquite Avenue area beginning Wednesday, May 14, at 8:00 a.m. through Thursday, May 15, at 6:00 a.m. Temporary road closures and lane restrictions are in effect during this time.

One eastbound lane remains open on Mesquite from Lake Havasu Avenue to Acoma. Westbound traffic is detoured from Acoma via Querio, Injo, and Riveria. Southbound access across Smoketree is closed to through-traffic.

Drivers are encouraged to plan ahead and follow posted detours. The City appreciates the public’s patience and understanding as these essential upgrades are carried out to improve the city’s water infrastructure.
