The SARA Park Dog Park is a local hot spot for the pooches, located right off the Highway via the South McCulloch entrance to the Parkway (7200 Dub Campbell Pkwy). This two-acre dog park features separate fenced areas for both small dogs and big dogs. With its grass areas, two walking paths (one approximately 1/10 mile and the other approximately 1/5 mile) and ten covered benches, this park is a bonding spot for both humans and man's best friend.

SARA Dog Park (Dylan's) is routinely closed Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. for routine maintenance. Sorry for the inconvenience. Please use Avalon Dog Park during this time period.

CRACK IN THE WALL TRAIL ("SARA CRACK")

This 5 mile round-trip scenic trail is accessible along the Parkway within SARA Park. This hike passes through one of the most famous slot canyons on the Lower Colorado, hence the name ‘Crack’ in the Wall. The trail navigates you through various desert landscapes including the narrow ravine, wash bottoms, rugged hillsides and more. This unique venture arrives you at a scenic cove on the lake marked by a unique formation known as Balance Rock—a huge rock mass precariously balanced atop a narrow pillar of withering stone. The geology along this trail is a must-see!
