Lake Havasu City invites the community to join us at Rotary Community Park, located at 1400 South Smoketree Avenue, for a ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating the installation of the new We-Go-Round playground equipment. The event, coordinated by Lake Havasu City and the Lake Havasu Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors, takes place on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at 12:30 p.m.

Lake Havasu City congratulates Parks and Recreation Director Gabby Vera, who has been named a recipient of the Authentic Leader Award by the Women in Parks and Recreation (WiPaR).

Jack Hardie Park playground is temporarily closed beginning Monday, April 13, 2026, to allow for the construction of a shade structure and lighting improvements over the existing playground equipment to enhance comfort and safety for park visitors. During construction, the playground area is fenced off and inaccessible.
