The Lake Havasu City Police Department is transitioning to a new Records Management System to better serve the community and improve operational efficiency.

For the consideration and safety of our K9 friends, the S.A.R.A. Dylan Dog Park is closed during the Western Pyrotechnic Association Winterblast beginning February 11, 2026, and continuing through February 16, 2026.  Residents and visitors are encouraged to use the Lion’s Dog Park located at 1340 McCulloch Boulevard or the Avalon Dog Park located at 1294 Avalon Avenue during this time.

Drivers traveling along Highway 95, the Island, and several other streets around Lake Havasu City may notice new electronic speed feedback signs now in operation. These signs register the speed of approaching vehicles and display it alongside the posted speed limit, giving drivers an immediate visual reminder of how fast they are traveling. The intent is to encourage safer driving habits and reduce speeding on key roadways throughout the city.
