APPLICATION PROCESS

Certain requirements must be met and steps taken to serve on a Lake Havasu City board or commission. If you are interested in serving on a City board or commission please download the application. You can print application and mail to the City Clerk's office at the address below, or email the application. Applications are accepted at any time throughout the year and are kept on file in the City Clerk’s Office for up to one (1) year should the board or commission you are interested in serving not have a current vacancy at the time of filing your application.

INITIAL APPOINTMENTS AND REAPPOINTMENTS

Applications for appointment to boards and commission are brought before the City Council as a public hearing item.  The City Clerk’s Office will notify you once a public hearing date for your application has been decided. The City Council requests that the applicant appear at the City Council meeting to make a brief presentation to the City Council as it relates to your interest in becoming a board or commission member.  Incumbent board or commission members seeking reappointment must also fill out a new application and submit it to the City Clerk’s Office for consideration of reappointment at a public hearing.
