Also commonly known as Desert Sumac, this xeric plant produces small fruits that will surely attract birds and nectar that will attract pollinators. It thrives in heat and sun and will grow in most any soil. Littleleaf sumac takes well to pruning, and in the landscape may be trained as a small tree or used as a hedge or fine textured backdrop.
