Lynns Legacy Texas Ranger
LYNN'S LEGACY TEXAS RANGER
Leucophyllum langmaniae 'Lynn's Legacy'

Lynn's Legacy is a more dense, rounded, slower growing cultivar of the Texas Sages that is named after Texas horticulturist Lynn Lowery (deceased in 1997). Compared to other Texas Sages, it is not as dependent on changes in relative humidity for flowering and can bloom more often during the course of the summer than other selections.

The number one stimulant of plant growth is irrigation water volume applied to landscapes. Therefore, use water wisely! Texas ranger is an iconic plant to practice this concept. Water Texas ranger less and it will respond with slower growth needing less pruning to keep it's size in check. Extensively rejuvenate Texas ranger shrubs during late February to early March and then leave them alone for the remainder of the year.
