Moss Verbena
MOSS VERBENA
Glandularia pulchella (=Verbena)

Although, this Verbena species is native to South America, it does exceptionally well in hot climates within the U.S., and is actually the Verbena of choice planted in the Phoenix area. We recommend to plant in partial shade and away from strong western exposure if planted in Lake Havasu City. This groundcover (along with other Verbena Species) makes for a good alternative to Lantana species which have poisonous sap.

Great when arranged in groups with individual planted about 3' on center. Head or trim back lightly during lulls in flowering only as needed. Just like other Verbenas, Moss Verbena will do best with fast draining soils.
