Mulga Acacia
MULGA ACACIA
Acacia aneura

The common name, “Mulga" is an Australian Aboriginal word that means “dream seed.” Both the tree and its seed are part of their mythology. This long-lived species has evolved to prevent water loss, and is a very versatile tree for landscaping. Small, narrow, silvery gray leaves are leathery, similar to those of an olive tree, and are dense along the branches. Makes a fine windbreak or screen.
