Spiny Senna
SPINY SENNA
Senna armata (=Cassia)

Spiny senna is a rounded, multi-branched shrub. The yellow-green stems are leafless throughout much of the year, but when the leaves are present, they contain 2-4 pairs of distantly-spaced leaflets. Flowers occur singly or in small clusters in leaf axils. They are fragrant and showy, with five petals in shades of yellow.
