COMING SOON: NEW YOUTH SPORTS LEAGUES
Lake Havasu City Parks & Recreation is thrilled to bring two new youth sports programs to our community: NFL Flag Football launching in early 2026 and the Jr. Suns Basketball League coming next summer! These programs are designed to provide a safe, fun, and engaging environment for kids to learn teamwork, build skills, and enjoy the excitement of youth sports.
The NFL Flag Football League will kick off in early 2026 and is open to boys and girls of various age divisions. Players will learn the fundamentals of football while focusing on sportsmanship and fun in a non-contact format.
The Jr. Suns Basketball League, beginning summer 2026, will give young athletes the chance to learn basketball fundamentals, develop their skills, and participate in a positive and structured league. Players will also receive an official Jr. Suns jersey and be part of a program connected with the Phoenix Suns, creating an exciting experience both on and off the court.

TENNIS
Sessions will teach the fundamentals of tennis to participants in 4th - 8th grade. Participants will need to bring a tennis racket and wear tennis shoes to each class. Classes will be held at the Lake Havasu High School Tennis Courts.
- Session 1 - Monday and Wednesday 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm, September 8,10, 15, 17, 22, 24, 29, October 1 ($80)
- Session 2 - Monday and Wednesday 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm, October 13, 15, 20, 22, 27, 29, November 3, 5 ($80)
- Session 3 - Monday and Wednesday 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm, November 10, 12, 17, 19, December 1, 3, 8, 10 ($80)
Private lessons are available for $35 per person per hour. Semi-private lessons for 2-3 people are also available for $40 per hour per group. Call the number below for more information.
