UPDATE

At zero hundred hours (Arizona time) May 1^st, 2023, our NOTAM will be effective, and the runway will be completely closed 24 hrs./day to all aircraft except Law Enforcement, Emergency Services (i.e., Air Methods, Life Flight) or authorized rotorcraft that can land directly to the ramp. Please ensure that all aircraft relocation is done prior to closure.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The purpose of this project is to rehabilitate runway 14-32 at Lake Havasu City Municipal Airport.

The existing 6" +- thick asphalt layer is to be milled and removed. The resulting millings are to be stockpiled in the area designated.

The existing aggregate base is to be moisture conditioned and re-compacted.

A new 6" thick asphaltic concrete layer is to be constructed in two 3" lifts.

Temporary runway paint markings are to be applied, followed by final runway markings after pavement cure time.

RUNWAY CLOSURE SCHEDULE

• MAY 1, 2023 - JUNE 11, 2023 - RUNWAY REHABILITATION (42 Day Runway Closure) 42 Days
• JUNE 12, 2023 - JULY 11, 2023 - 30 DAY PAVEMENT CURE (Runway will be open during pavement cure time)
• JULY 12, 2023 - JULY 14, 2023 - FINAL PAINT MARKING (3 Day Runway Closure)
