Last December, Lake Havasu City Police officers responded to a house fire. Upon arriving at the scene, officers learned that there was an individual in the house. Officers entered the home and were able to save the occupant. Officer Andrew Vega was wearing a body cam and captured the rescue on video.

The Lake Havasu City Police Department awarded the Medal of Valor to Officer Vega for his courage and quick action.
