TRASH & RECYCLING CARTS

DAYS AND HOURS OF COLLECTION
Hours of collection are between 5 a.m. and 6 p.m. Please place your trash and recycling out the night before your collection day. Our collectors start at 5 a.m. and we are not responsible for the collection of items placed at the curb after that time. Click on the link below to find your day of trash pickup.
LARGE BULK ITEMS
You may call our offices to schedule a curbside collection of large household items such as water heaters, furniture and appliances. This service is offered at no charge (except for tires and Freon certification) up to 6 times per calendar year. Please, no construction debris, tear down items, commercial waste, landscaping, or other items that may otherwise require temporary bin service
HOLIDAY SCHEDULE
Trash and recycling are collected on all holidays except Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's day. Your trash and recycling will be collected one day later after each of these holidays. For example, if the holiday falls on Thursday and your trash day is Thursday, your trash and recycling will be collected on Friday and Friday's trash and recycling will be collected on Saturday.

LANDFILL
The Lake Havasu City landfill is located 2 miles east off Highway 95 on Chenoweth Dr. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. and on Saturday from 8 a.m. to Noon. Payment is CASH only and charges by weight. Please call Republic Services for further questions.
HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS MATERIALS
The City and Republic Services will host a Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day once a year (dates to be posted as scheduled). In the meantime, click the link below for simple steps to dispose of various household hazards all year long. You no longer need to store these until collection day, just drop them off.
