FENTANYL INVESTIGATION LEADS TO ARREST

Over the past several months, detectives with the Lake Havasu City Police Department’s Special Investigations Unit, which is part of the Mohave Area General Narcotics Enforcement Team (MAGNET), have been investigating a subject selling Fentanyl pills throughout the Lake Havasu City Area. 

On June 16, 2022, at approximately 4:08 p.m., detectives from the Lake Havasu City Police Department’s Special Investigations Unit, with assistance from the Street Crimes Unit, arrested 26-year-old Lake Havasu City resident Cody Boulet in the 1900 block of N. McCulloch Blvd. in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. Boulet was found to be in possession of 100 Fentanyl pills, Xanax, and Alprazolam. Detectives seized for forfeiture nearly $1,000 in cash and a Honda motorcycle that he used during the investigation.

As a result of the investigation, Cody Boulet was charged with three counts of sales of narcotic drugs, possession of narcotic drugs for sale, possession of dangerous drugs, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

During Boulet’s initial appearance, he was held on a $50,000 cash-only bond and transferred to the custody of the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office.
