Babysitting Classes Designed for 11 to 14 Year Olds

Lake Havasu City is hosting babysitting classes in June and July at Fire Station No. 1, located at 96 Acoma Boulevard, Lake Havasu City, AZ. 

This class offers young teens, between 11 to 14 years of age, valuable resources for the beginner babysitter up to the novice babysitter while they are home alone, watching younger siblings, or babysitting.  Class instruction includes information such as babysitting as a business, safety and injury prevention, leadership, playtime, basic caregiving skills, and first aid. 

Register online today at https://register.lhcaz.gov/ or in person at the Aquatic Center, located at 100 Park Avenue.  The cost for the class is $31 per student (non-refundable) and is required to reserve the student’s seat.  Class size is limited.  Registration will continue until all classes meet their maximum capacity. 

Dates available for the babysitting classes are June 5 to 6, June 13 to 14, June 18 to 19, June 26 to 27, July 10 to 11, July 18 to 19, and July 24 to 25.  Each class is from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for two consecutive days.  It is recommended each student bring a snack and water to class.
