COMMUNITY INFORMATION ABOUT PLANNED PROTEST
June 04, 2020

There is a lot of false information being shared on social media about the upcoming protest and other planned peaceful events in Lake Havasu City. In an effort to help the community have the latest factual information, updates will be posted to the Lake Havasu City Facebook page as well as to the Lake Havasu City Police Department Twitter page over the next few days.

The organized event planned for Saturday has not been given permission to obstruct any roadway or to block traffic travelling across the London Bridge. Lake Havasu City Ordinances do not allow any person to obstruct or place any obstruction upon, across or along any street, alley or sidewalk. It is also unlawful for any person to place any banner or sign upon any street light pole, traffic signal pole or utility pole within the city without first obtaining authorization from the Council and the owner of the pole. Those partaking in the organized event are exercising their constitutional right and no permit has been issued by the City.

Please call 9-1-1 for emergencies only.

The non-emergency phone number to the police department is below.
